Personal Life
Born 30th of June 1965 into the Uwajumogu family of Umuihi ihitte/Uboma LGA in Okigwe Zone of Imo State. Benjamin Chukwuemeka became the pioneer Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) for Ihitte/Uboma LGA at age 25 in 1990. Senator Benjamin Uwajumogu died on the 18th of December 2019. Sources said he slumped suddenly in the morning of that day in his house while having his bath. He was confirmed dead at an Apo hospital, Abuja. He was a practical and devout Christian. He is married to Chief (Mrs.) Elleen and they are blessed with three children. His hobbies are meeting people and travelling.
