Ibikunle Amosun CON FCA is a chartered accountant, politician, and three-term senator of Ogun Central district, Ogun State. He is also the former governor of Ogun State. He is fondly called SIA.

Fondly called SIA, Ibikunle Amosun was born 25 January 1958. He is married to Mrs. Olufunso Amosun and the blissful union has produced five lovely children.

Political History
In April 2007 he made an unsuccessful bid to be elected governor of Ogun State.
April, 2003, Ogun Central Senatorial District. While in the Senate between 2003 and 2007, he served in the following capacities:
- Chairman, Senate Committee on Commerce
- Member, Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs
- Member, Senate Committee on Appropriation
- Member, Senate Committee on Privatization
- Member, Senate Committee on Security and Intelligence
On 29 May, 2011, Senator Amosun was sworn-in as the fourth elected Governor of Ogun State, Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN). He was re-elected for a second term during the 2015 gubernatorial election.
He will be retiring from his current position as the senator representing Ogun Central district in the upcoming 2023 election.
