Personal Life
Mohammed Danjuma Goje is a devoted Muslim and is married to two wives; Hajiya Fatima Yelwa and Hajiya Aisha Munira who have nine children for him. In October 2017, his first wife Fatima Yelwa, died while receiving treatment in the United States.

Political History
Mohammed Danjuma Goje joined the world of politics when he contested and won a seat as a Member of the Bauchi State House of Assembly. He served a single term from 1979 to 1983. He later contested for a senatorial seat but lost. However, he was made Minister of State, Power and Steel under President Olusegun Obasanjo’s government from 1999 to 2001. Mohammed Goje became the second democratic governor of Gombe State in 2003 and was re-elected in 2007. After serving two terms as governor, he contested for a senatorial seat and won under the PDP platform. Now, he represents Gombe Central District in the Nigerian Senate. In January 2014, he joined APC
