Political History

Mohammed Sabo was a member of the House of Representatives from 2007 to 2015. He served two terms representing Birnin Kudu Constituency. In 2015, he contested for the Jigawa South West Senatorial  position and won under the platform of the All Progressives Congress. He is the Vice-Chairman Senate Committee on Trade and Investment.

He will be contesting to retain his current position as the senator of the Jigawa South West senatorial district in the 2023 election
